Blake Brisker - Arkansas
BIO
Blake Brisker didn't arrive at Arkansas with a scholarship offer. He arrived with a plan — and the kind of stubbornness that doesn't take no for an answer.
A product of Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas — the same program that produced NFL tight end Jason Witten — Blake came out of high school with limited recruiting attention and his biggest offer coming from Abilene Christian. Rather than settle, he did something most 18-year-olds wouldn't consider: he joined the Arkansas National Guard to pay for school, walked into the Razorbacks' facility uninvited, found one coach willing to give him five minutes, and spent an entire summer texting that coach until a roster spot opened up less than a week before fall camp.
Blake Brisker became a preferred walk-on at Arkansas. He earned it one text at a time.
Now a safety for the Arkansas Razorbacks, Blake balances SEC football with active ROTC obligations — two commitments most people couldn't manage separately, let alone together. He grinds next to teammates making six figures on NIL deals without losing focus on the only thing he's chasing: a scholarship and a starting spot.
